On Saturday, September 24, 2011. members of KC Council 9759 and their wives along with several Boy Scout Troops cooked, served and visited family members of Veterans at the Fisher House located next to the VA Hospital in Houston, Texas. The Fisher House is equivalent to the Ronald McDonald House where family members of Veterans in the VA Hospital can stay for free for an extended period of time. KC Council 9759 encourages other KC Councils to visit our Veterans and help provide meals to their families. Special thanks to Brother Reed Bond, who inspired the blessing to serve these families. Brother Reed is a patient at the VA Hospital. Special thanks to Brother John Osborn and his son Michael for organizing the Boy Scouts to help serve and clean up. Special thanks to Brother John Perry for cooking the briskets and sausage for the families and hopsital staff.
I thank the Grand Knight for his reply to my enquiries. I am staying with my son & his family at 7018 Spruce view Court, Richmond, TX. I am a 4th degree brother in Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria. Although my stay in your country will be short, I shall try to take part in your activities ASAP. Your programmes are interesting and I hope to be part of them. Thank you, worthy soldiers of Christ. I was wondering if you rent out your hall. I am on the planning committee for my elementary school's Christmas party, and am looking for a budget-friendly hall that we may be able to rent. I do not know if you rent outside the church affiliations, as we are a public school. If so, what are your qualifications/stipulations. Do you have a kitchen facility?
I'm a Knight in San Antonio and my family is moving to Houston for my wife's job. We are looking at the Cinco Ranch Area to live. Any suggestions or job search help for me would be appreciated. DBrunnert@sbcglobal.net

Daily Bible Verse (NIV)
Daily Manna from the Net for Friday, January 27, 2012 [Mark 5:27-34] When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, 'If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.' Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, 'Who touched my clothes?' 'You see the people crowding against you,' his disciples answered, 'and yet you can ask, Who touched me?' ' But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.' Mark 5:27-34 NIV
